Must-see: 10th Annual St. John’s Bizarre
Giving everyone just enough time to recover from the city’s many Cinco de Mayo St John's paradefestivities, the 10th Annual St. John’s Bizarre kicks off the summer street festival season.
Held annually on the second Saturday in May, the Bizarre brings music, crafts, and food to the crowds attending the St Johns Parade, now in its 54th year.
Over 70 juried craft vendors and several stages for music are among the many highlights of the event. Admission is free.

PDX neighborhood mapPortland Monthly Magazine recently published its “Portland By The Numbers 2016” feature, assessing the hottest neighborhoods in Portland’s still-smokin’ hot, “totally insane” real estate market–and their findings might surprise you.
Dramatic increases were seen along the city’s outer east side, west side, and industrial fringes. Some of Portland’s biggest and most surprising price jumps were seen in Hayden Island, East Columbia, Linnton, and far southwest–and 24 percent in Parkrose!
